Academic honors for MSU tennis
MSU SPORTS INFORMATION AND CHRONICLE STAFF
The Montana State men’s and women’s tennis teams, and 10 student-athletes from those squads, earned academic honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) on Tuesday.
Seven members of the MSU women’s team earned ITA All-Academic Team honors, while the organization honored three members of the men’s team. Qualifications include a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (out of 4.0) for individual honorees, while teams need a 3.20 GPA among all letterwinners.
Women’s student-athletes honored are Jojo Bach (sr., Brighton, U.K.), Angel Bean (so., Montreal, Quebec), Andrea Cuquerella (sr., Xativa, Valencia, Spain), Marta Garcia-Reboredo (sr., Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain), Kavya Khirwar (jr., New Delhi, India), Mia Ljubas (sr., Seattle, Washington) and Meg McCarty (so., Bozeman, Montana).
Men’s honorees include Eddie Biss (fr., Auckland, New Zealand), Yassin Elaroussy (fr., Cairo, Egypt) and Andre Stewart (so., Faro, Portugal).
